Stoop not down into that darkly splendid world, wherein continually lies a faithless depth, and Hades, wrapped in gloom, delighting in unintelligible images, precipitous, winding; a black ever-rolling abyss ever espousing a body unluminous, formless and void.
Earth. My world. I love and hate you so much. I am so afraid of what is to come, and I cling to you in a thousand subtle ways because of it. I am fully human, but they've told me I'm fully divine too. And so, I leave you as I've known you - and all the beautiful and horrible fantasies we've shared.
You are the offering and the reward and the one holding me back the most - because I loved you more than any other. And now my life as I know it comes to a close - I go to die, or be reborn. Or both.
