Aleph,
You are the first, the servant of God,
the ever-becoming One.
Out of the darkness you came
into the pale light of a primal dawn,
bringing the gift of yourself.
You are the breath of each new day
that marks the onward march of time,
a new beginning offered without flaw
that we may serve the Most High.
You are strong like the ox,
for the earth sustains you.
You are the foremost, the leader.
Let me know your strength, holy Aleph.
Let it become like a tree, rooted within me.
Make me strong,
that I may endure the tests of life with fortitude.
At the Aleph of my birth you were there.
Be you present at the Tav of my ending.

The Earth is YHWH's and the fullness thereof,
the world and they that dwell therein.
For He has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
Who shall ascend into the hill of YHWH
or who shall stand in His holy place?
He that has clean hands and a pure heart,
who has not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully,
He shall receive blessing from YHWH,
and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek your face, O Yaakov.
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; lift up, ye everlasting doors,
and the King of Glory shall come in. Who is this King of Glory?
YHWH strong and mighty; YHWH mighty in battle.
